Geo-viewer interface

The geo-viewer in Dielmo Maps is a powerful tool that facilitates the visualization and management of geospatial data. Below, we explain how to use the different functions and panels available in the geo-viewer to maximize its effectiveness.

Buttons and Panels in the Geo-viewer

Layer Panel Button: This button shows the panel where you can select and show/hide different map layers. It also provides shortcuts and predefined views.

Search Panel Button: With this button, you can activate the search panel, allowing you to perform local searches on active layers, global searches, or searches in the street index.

Photo Preview Panel Button: This button allows you to activate access to photo layers and open the photo preview panel.

Go to Coordinates Panel Button: Use this button to display the panel where you can select coordinates in different reference systems and create links to those coordinates.

Web Maps Selection Button: Here you can see all the Web Maps in which you are a participant or that are public and have been generated by the Web Maps owner.

Measurements Panel Button: This button opens the measurements panel, from where you can measure lines and polygons and obtain measurements of the selections made.

LiDAR Panel Button: With this button, you can display the LiDAR panel, select profiles, and view the 3D projection after selecting an area or line on the map.

Login: Use this button to log in and access private application data.

Information Button: This button provides details about the application version.

Preferences Panel Button: Opens the preferences panel, where you can select options such as the application language, units of measurement, and more.

Email Button: Allows you to send an email to the support team regarding application issues.

Print Screen: Use this option to print a screenshot of the current screen.

Description of Panels

Layer Panel: This panel displays the layers that make up the current Web Maps. You can also make connections to external WMS and KML services, although these connections will disappear at the end of the session.

Search Panel: This panel allows different types of searches:

Local Search: In the features of the layers visible on the map.
Global Search: Worldwide.
Local Search in the Street Index: Specific search in the street index.

Zoom Tools: Use these tools to interact with the map visualization:

Go to Map’s Initial Position: Resets the view to the initial state.
Activate Geolocation: Centers the map on your current location.
Zoom Out: Decreases the zoom level.
Zoom In: Increases the zoom level.
Go to Previous Position: Returns to the previous view.
Go to Next Position: Moves to the next view.

Photo Preview Panel: This panel is crucial for inspections. Here, the preview of the photos of the selected layer is shown, where you can review the photos in detail, make annotations, validate the photos, or add comments. Once a photo is selected, it can be enlarged for better viewing and proceed with the necessary inspection.

Dielmo Maps’ geo-viewer is designed to be intuitive and functional, allowing for efficient and precise management of geospatial data.
