Inviting collaborators

 

Inviting collaborators to a Web Maps in Dielmo Maps is a feature available to subscribers with a Lite plan or higher. This feature allows users to invite other collaborators, whether they are free or paid, to participate in a private Web Maps. It is especially useful for managing teams in projects such as inspections, geospatial analysis, and urban planning.

Key Features:

  1. Access to Private Web Maps: Users with a Lite plan or higher can create and manage private Web Mapsin Dielmo Maps. These Web Maps contain sensitive or exclusive information that should not be accessible to the general public.
  2. Inviting Collaborators: Web Maps owners can invite other users to collaborate in the Web Maps by clicking on the “Invite Collaborator” icon. From here, they can invite as many free or paid users as their subscriber plan allows.
  3. Collaborator Management: Web Maps owners have the ability to manage invited collaborators, being able to invite and uninvite users as needed. This allows for precise control over who has access to the Web Maps and who does not.
  4. Simple Invitation Process: To invite a user, simply enter a list of email addresses separated by commas. Once the invitations are sent, invited users will see the Web Maps in the “Web Maps” section of the Guest Geo Viewer at the bottom of the Web Maps management section.

Imagine we are managing an infrastructure inspection project. As the Web Maps owner in Dielmo Maps, we can invite members of our team to collaborate in the private Web Maps. Once we send the invitations, invited collaborators can access the Web Maps and contribute to the inspection, data collection, and decision-making collaboratively and coordinately.
